The Reseller Choice Awards are unique in that they are judged by the channel community itself, rather than by independent third-party judges, ensuring a truly unbiased and transparent process. To win, vendors and distributors must secure the most votes from their peers in the channel. While sponsoring the awards can help raise a company’s profile, it does not influence the outcome—only the votes determine the winners. The results are revealed at a prestigious gala event, where winners have the chance to speak and celebrate their achievement. This ensures the awards remain independent, transparent, and rooted in community-driven feedback, with valuable data collected to help improve the industry as a whole.

This award is and will always be 100% FREE. There is absolutely no charge to enter, nominate, vote for, or win any of our awards!
Attending the Awards Gala:
Every award winner receives ONE FREE ticket to attend the Awards Gala, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate in the celebration.
To reserve and guarantee your seat, you must purchase your ticket in advance. You can always request to receive a full refund for your ticket directly through the same ticket platform up to 7 days before the event. Award Top Finalists will be sent a special code with instructions to redeem your FREE ticket well before the 7-day cutoff period.
150 Tickets are reserved for award winners and finalists but if unclaimed, they are released 10 days before the awards gala. Unless you have a reserved seat, there is no gurantee that a seat will be available even if you win an award.
Note on Free Ticket Use: Your complimentary ticket is void if you do not attend, but you may transfer it to a colleague to represent you. We strongly recommend that you purchase tickets for any colleagues, guests, or spouses as early as possible to come celebrate this important event for the Canadian channel community.
What happens if I win?
If you are a winner, you will be notified. You can choose to receive an award certificate upon request and are entitled to use the awards logos and related content for promotional purposes.

Do I have to attend the Awards Gala to win?
No, attendance at the in-person Awards Gala is not mandatory to win an award. The Gala is an optional event for those who wish to collect their physical award in person, attend the dinner, take photos, and network with colleagues and peers.

How do I get nominated, if I am not listed?
Ask one of your Channel Partners to go to this website and vote. During the process, they can easily add/nominate your company name in any appropriate category or categories (there is a field to nominate other besides every category). Once done, we will approve and everyone will be able to see the name listed.
Can I invite my channel partners to vote for me?
Yes, we encourage it! Simply send them the link to this website! Some companies insert “Vote for Me” banner ads in their e-mail signatures and send invitations. Some post on their partner portals. It is all up to you how you get out your vote! Ask us for a free “Vote for Me” graphic template with your company name.
How will I know how I ranked?
The top 3 rankings will be published on e-channelnews.com Throughout the year, we will be doing more in-depth articles on each category and may list the rankings of all vendors. However, you may formally request your ranking by contacting us with your request at choiceawards@technoplanet.com.
Rankings in every category, by region and by area code are kept on file for over a decade. While we only publish the top 3, ranking are kept for 100% of the list of nominees.
How do I nominate a company or person?
To nominate a company or person, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the voting section by clicking VOTE on the Navigation Bar, and then select START VOTING NOW.
- Verify your identity by entering the required information.
- Scroll down and select the appropriate Category or People option.
- If the name you wish to nominate is not visible in the existing menu or list, you can manually nominate them by entering the name in the “Or Nominate Other” field located just below the list.
Remember to SUBMIT the form (button at the bottom)
Who attends the event?
Nominated vendors, distributors, as well as the country’s Top 50 MSPs, MSSPs, VARs, and ITSPs will attend this event. All channel professionals are invited on a first come first served basis. Note: 150 Tickets are reserved for award winners and finalists but if unclaimed, are released 10 days before the awards gala.
How can leverage my award, if I win?
You can start by sharing the good news with your channel community and social networks. You should share with your colleagues and management and hopefully they wil share with their networks. Post your win with your pictures on social networks, especially LinkedIn. Write a press release and send to editor@e-channelnews.com. Book an eChannelNews interview! This is on top of all the publicity that we do to share the news of the winners and rankings with the entire channel. In short, do whatever you wish to amplify your good news. It is not every day you win an award that is 100% voted on by channel partners! Ask about our enhanced digital PR opportunities to amplify your message.

To avoid any dissapointment, please purchase your seat in advance to guarantee your seat. When you receive your free code, you can get a refund. Seats are limited so this is the only way you can guarantee to get your seat(s).
Every year some people do miss the deadline to reserve their seats and we were not able to find an extra seat. The venue is limited in space and the special 4-course gala dinner is booked well in advance so there is no allowance for last minute additions.

Do I really need to be dressed in a tuxedo or formal dress?
No, but it is a formal awards gala and a good opportunity to dress up. At the very least, please wear proper business attire as we will be taking lots of pictures for you to also use for your social networks and other promotional purposes. Our team will be dressed in Black Tie formal wear.

Can I bring my colleagues or my spouse?
